In a rigorous synchronous-online 12-week program, you will dive into fundamentals of data science, statistics, and programming in a cohort of 25-30 learners from all over Africa, ensuring you receive a personalized and individualized learning experience. All courses are delivered virtually and sychronously.

Throughout the program, you will work on case studies with real world data and an African context to it. You will also work on a final project centered around the fields you care about, applying the skills you learned from the program, and enabling you to build a data science portfolio.

You will join a network with individuals from over 10 African countries, and be part of a strong data science community. You will access opportunities such as project help-desks in which the facilitators help you with your data projects from work or school, we’ll share job and internship opportunities, give sessions on resume building, interview preps and organize alumni networking retreats.

You will get to learn from an accomplished team who have studied and worked in leading institutions such as the University of Chicago, University of Oxford, Ashoka University and Carnegie Mellon University. You will also be learning from facilitators and faculty who are currently working in the intersection of data science and climate change, education, financial inclusion etc.
